Every time someone messages you "how much do you charge?" or "what services do you offer?", you're answering manually what a digital catalog could resolve in seconds. A digital catalog — also called an online menu or price list page — is a public page where your clients see everything you offer, with photos, prices, and descriptions, without needing to ask you anything. With Puny.bz you can create one in under 5 minutes, no code and no design skills required.
- A digital catalog is a public page with your products or services and prices.
- In Puny.bz it's created in 3 steps: basic info → select products → configure customer fields.
- Products are organized by tags you already have in your account.
- The catalog generates a link you can share via WhatsApp, Instagram, or anywhere.
What is a digital catalog and why do you need one?
A digital catalog is a web page with your list of products or services, with images, prices, and descriptions. Clients visit it, see what you offer, and can place an order directly. They don't need to message you to ask about prices. You don't need to send screenshots. Everything is in one place.
The Puny.bz catalog is different from a Shop: in a Shop, the client pays online when placing the order; in the Catalog, the client places the order but payment is coordinated separately. It's ideal for businesses where the price depends on details you confirm with the client before charging — catering, repairs, home services, graphic design, and more.
How to create your catalog in Puny.bz: step-by-step guide
Step 1 — Open the creation menu
Log into your dashboard at portal.puny.bz. You'll see the Punies screen with all your active cards. In the bottom right corner there's a blue button with a +. Press that button.
Screen: Dashboard → Punies
A modal opens with all available options. Select Catalog — "Display items without payment". Puny automatically creates your catalog and takes you to the 3-step editor.
Screen: Select Puny type
Step 2 — Set up basic info (Editor Step 1)
The editor shows 3 steps at the top. In Step 1: Catalog Basics you set the cover image, name, and description for your catalog.
Screen: Editor → Step 1
Click the dotted image area to upload your cover photo. Then write the catalog name (for example: "My Design Services" or "Spa Menu") and a short description. All three fields are required — if you try to advance without filling them in, the system will notify you.
Screen: Step 1 with data entered
Once you have the image uploaded and the fields filled, press Next →.
Step 3 — Select products by tag (Editor Step 2)
This is where the catalog gets filled with content. Puny shows all the tags you have assigned to your products and services. Clicking a tag automatically adds all products with that tag to the catalog.
Screen: Step 2 → Tag selection
You can select multiple tags. If you have a graphic design catalog, select "Design". If it's for cleaning services, select "Cleaning". If you want to show everything, select all tags. Products appear in a preview below in real time.
Screen: Tag selected → products appear
When you're satisfied with the included products, press Next →.
Step 4 — Configure customer information (Editor Step 3)
Step 3: Customer Information defines what data you ask the client when they place an order from the catalog. By default, name and email are enabled. Phone is also active. Shipping address is disabled — only enable it if you sell physical products with home delivery.
Screen: Step 3 → Customer information
When everything is configured, press Save Catalog. Puny saves your catalog and generates a unique link you can share with anyone.
This is what your catalog looks like when a client visits it
Your catalog lives at a link like puny.cards/your-business. The client sees a clean page with all your products or services, a search bar, and the option to sort by price. They can make their selection and send an order directly from that page.
No calls. No "how much do you charge?" messages. The client sees, decides, and orders. You receive the order in your dashboard and coordinate payment and delivery details.
When to use a Catalog vs. a Shop in Puny.bz?
The key difference is payment at the time of order. In a Shop, the client pays directly with a card, ATH Móvil, or Stripe when making their selection. In a Catalog, the client places the order but payment is agreed separately. Use the catalog when:
- Your prices vary depending on job details (measurements, materials, distance).
- You offer services that require a personalized quote before charging.
- You want to receive WhatsApp-style orders in an organized way, without the client having to pay at that moment.
- You handle regular clients whom you invoice periodically.
If you sell physical or digital products at a fixed price and want to collect payment instantly, use a Shop in Puny.bz instead.
Frequently asked questions about the Puny.bz catalog
Do I need to know technology to create a catalog?
No. The process is completely visual: upload an image, write a name, select tags, and save. There's no code or manual design. If you know how to use WhatsApp, you can create a catalog in Puny.bz.
Can I have more than one catalog in the same account?
Yes. You can create multiple catalogs, each with different products. For example: one for seasonal services, another for your regular menu, and another for special packages. Each has its own link.
Does the catalog appear on my public Puny.bz profile?
By default, the catalog is created "Off Grid" — it doesn't appear on your public profile until you activate it. When you're ready to show it, go to your Punies list and enable the "Show on Grid" option on the catalog card.
What happens when a client places an order from the catalog?
You receive a notification in your dashboard and email with the order details: client name, selected products, quantity, and their contact info. From there you coordinate payment and delivery directly with the client.
Do I need to have products created before making the catalog?
Yes. The catalog is filled with the products you already have in your account, organized by tags. If you don't have products yet, go first to Products & Services in the dashboard menu, add them with a photo and tag, and then create the catalog.
Creating a digital catalog is one of the smallest changes that produces the biggest impact for a service business. Stop answering the same price questions over WhatsApp and give every client a direct link to your catalog. At Puny.bz you have it running in under 5 minutes — completely free to start.
