Emprendiendo Juntas: Stories of Women Who Inspire

The eMprendiendo Juntas event by Fase1 was a day full of inspiration and growth, where women entrepreneurs shared their stories, challenges, and achievements in the business world. Margarita Cotto took us on a journey through the impact this event has had on different businesswomen who have found Fase1 to be a key tool in achieving their dreams.

Stories That Inspire

Among the participants, we met Lyanne Muñiz Rivera, founder of Taste Buds Bakery, who aims to bring happiness and togetherness through innovative desserts. Her inspiration arose during the pandemic when she saw an opportunity to start her own business. Despite facing challenges such as securing a physical space and managing permits, her persistence led her to open her shop, responding to the demands of her loyal customers.

Another remarkable story was that of Marisol, owner of GBG Boutique, who transformed her life after facing health problems. After closing her beauty salon due to illness, she decided to fully dedicate herself to jewelry-making, a craft she had always been passionate about. Her inspiration and motivation stem from personal resilience and faith, allowing her to see her business as a new opportunity for growth.

Gloria Rodríguez, another entrepreneur at the event, shared how her love for knitting became her salvation after experiencing a divorce and adapting to a new country. What started as a personal therapy turned into a successful handcrafted clothing business.

On the other hand, Karen Lynnette, owner of Chic Menina Bowtique, shared a deeply moving story. After losing one of her twin daughters and struggling with postpartum depression, she found healing through creating baby accessories. Overcoming an episode of domestic violence, she used her business as a tool to process her emotions and move forward, proving that resilience and support can help overcome even the toughest moments.

The Role of Fase1

The event also highlighted the work of Fase1, an organization that provides mentorships, training, and workshops for women entrepreneurs through its Intensive incubation program. More than half of the participants in this program are women, reflecting a growing trend of female leadership in the business world.

Through this initiative, Fase1 aims to remove barriers that limit female entrepreneurship, providing tools and support to help women successfully develop their businesses. According to the organizers, one of the first steps to joining this business community is staying informed about available events and opportunities, which can be easily done by subscribing to their platform.
